Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Toolkit. By using our tools you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Toolkit ("the Service", "the Website") at toolkit.blackcatartiststudio.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By using Toolkit, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Toolkit is a free, browser-based online tool suite provided by Black Cat Artist Studio. The Service includes the following free tools:
- QR Code Generator — creates QR codes for URLs, WiFi, vCards and other content
- Barcode Generator — creates barcodes in multiple formats including CODE128, EAN-13, UPC-A and others
- Invoice Generator — creates professional invoice documents downloadable as PDF
- Purchase Order Generator — creates professional purchase order documents downloadable as PDF
All processing occurs locally in your browser using JavaScript. No data is transmitted to our servers during tool usage.
3. Free to Use
Toolkit is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce premium features or subscription plans in the future. Core functionality will remain available for free. We will provide reasonable notice before implementing any paid features.
4. Permitted Use
You are permitted to use Toolkit for the following purposes:
- Personal and commercial QR code and barcode generation
- Creating legitimate invoices and purchase orders for real business transactions
- Educational and research purposes
- Any lawful purpose that does not violate these Terms or applicable laws
Content generated using our tools (QR codes, barcodes, invoices, purchase orders) belongs to you, the user. You may use generated content for any lawful commercial or personal purpose.
5. Prohibited Use
You may NOT use Toolkit for the following:
- Creating fraudulent, fake or deceptive invoices or purchase orders
- Generating QR codes or barcodes that link to malware, phishing sites or illegal content
- Any activity that violates applicable local, national or international laws
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Attempting to reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the Toolkit source code
- Using automated scripts or bots to mass-generate content from our tools
- Any use that could damage, disable or impair the Service
Violation of these prohibited uses may result in termination of your access to the Service and may be reported to appropriate authorities.
6. Data & Privacy
All tool processing occurs locally in your browser. Your invoice data, client information, QR code content and any uploaded logos are never transmitted to our servers and are never stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle information.
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (page views, session duration) to help improve the Service. We display Google AdSense advertisements. Both services may use cookies — see our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Advertising
Toolkit is supported by Google AdSense advertising. By using the Service you agree to the display of advertisements. We do not control the specific ads displayed — they are served by Google based on your browsing history and context. You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ad Settings.
8. Intellectual Property
The Toolkit name, logo, interface design, code and content are the intellectual property of Black Cat Artist Studio. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute the Toolkit interface or branding without explicit written permission.
Content you generate using our tools (QR codes, barcodes, invoices, purchase orders) belongs to you. We claim no ownership over your generated content.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Toolkit is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure
- QR codes will be scannable on all devices in all conditions
- Barcodes will be accepted by all retail scanning systems
- Generated invoices or POs meet specific legal requirements in your jurisdiction
- PDF downloads will render identically on all browsers and operating systems
Always test QR codes and barcodes before commercial use. Consult a qualified accountant or legal professional regarding invoicing requirements in your jurisdiction.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Black Cat Artist Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of Toolkit, including but not limited to:
- QR codes that fail to scan or link to incorrect content
- Barcodes rejected by retail or inventory systems
- Invoice or PO errors resulting in financial disputes
- Loss of data due to browser closure
- Service downtime or unavailability
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed PKR 1,000 (or equivalent in your local currency).
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
